Nathan Phillips (AKA Chief Crying Wolf) lied about being a Vietnam vet. CNN had to publish a retraction, and Snopes is doing their best to tell the truth without upsetting George Soros. While Jesse was the first to call it, it was Navy SEAL Don Shipley, the Boomer of Doom, who published Shitting Bull's military record, proving he was never in Vietnam, and in fact went AWOL several times.
